Dear staff and students of Dominic Savio School,
A Heaty “Welcome-back” to all of you and a special cordial welcome to all the new students who have joined us this year. I suppose you all enjoyed your summer vacation, despite the warm weather conditions and visited new people & places and learned many great things.
As you already know Fr. Arockiadass, who served our school as Principal has been transferred to Tirupattur to be the Principal of Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School there. Let us Fr. Dass for his wonderful service to all of us. He was kind & Compassionate to all of us. May god continue to bless him with good health and sound wisdom!
Fr. Dass has been replaced by Fr. Arul Sekar who worked as principal in the Don Bosco Matriculation School, Katpadi, Vellore. Besides being a good Salesian educator and a loving person, Fr. Sekar is also a musician. We are truly happy that he is our new Principal. Let us wish him all the best and all God’s blessings in his new assignment
Dear students as you have stepped into another School year, let me right away ask you to do the following: Kindly commit yourselves very seriously to your studies & activities, education & formation from the very beginning of the school year 2024 25
No doubt the management and the staff will keep reminding you of your duties so that you may obtain great results. However, what is really needed is your collaboration & commitment without which nothing great will happen to you. We call this “self-motivation”.
What is this “self-motivation”? one might ask.
Well, self-motivation is the quality of being capable of hard work & effort without the need for pressure from others. In other words, it is the ability to drive oneself to achieve goals, overcome obstacles, and persevere in the face of challenges without relying on external factors such as rewards, praise or encouragement from others.
Self-motivation, which reflects the mental determination and will to achieve what we want, is indeed the key to happiness & success in life. It has two dimensions: one is related to our mind (it prompts us to think where we want to go and what we want to do) and the other is related to action (it helps us to act and to achieve what we desire). You know what persons determine their goals and at strongly to achieve them
In order to be motivated one must be self-confident, believing in oneself, for sure. Obviously, with faith in oneself, faith in others and faith in God, one can really achieve great things in life. Therefore, dear students, get self-motivated & be self-confident. If you manage to do all this, you will work wonders in life!
Dear Staff, congratulation to you for your great teaching, hard-work, interest shown in the holistic growth and well-being of students. Please continue to do the same
Dear students trust in yourselves, in others and in God. Get self-motivated and you will see great results and you will be happier than before. This is my wish and prayer. May St. Dominic Savio and Mary Our help, intercede for us!
